What do I need to do first?
Many people feel unsure of what to do following a bereavement. Here you can find out how to register the death and start making the funeral arrangements.
What kind of funeral can I choose for my loved one?
The choice between burial and cremation is a very personal one. Decisions may be influenced by many factors, such as family tradition, religion or the wishes of the person who has died.
What do I need to organise for the day of the funeral?
There are many different ways a funeral can celebrate the individuality of the person who has died. We will spend time discussing all the options available for personalising the funeral, to create this unique commemoration.
If you’re an existing Co-op Member, you will save £200 when arranging a funeral with us.
We’ll also give 1% of what you spend to a local cause in your community.

After the funeral
We often work with families beyond the funeral, whether to advise them on the choice of memorial masonry, or support after the death of someone close.
We offer many types of memorial including headstones, benches, plaques, and vases, all made by our skilled craftsmen.
We offer free advice on dealing with your loved one’s legal and financial affairs.
